Who needs this book?
We wrote the book for children, especially nine-year olds, but truth be told, any age can benefit from the conversations and activities. Children not yet reading can ask their parents or trusted adult to help.
"Useable in my practice?"
From counselors, teachers, librarians, special needs teachers, to pastors, this book is for you to guide your clients and/or students to process their grief about their special pet that died. We would love to offer this resource to veterinarian clinics as part of their bereavement packages. We'd even like to find veterinary students and offer this as a special graduation gift. Finally, we want to connect with businesses that provide grief support, from local to nationwide.
Other formats
What other formats will you offer? Frodo's book will have both a hardcover and softcover in English and Spanish. If you order through this site, your copy of our hardcover book will arrive to you wrapped in paw print tissue paper with a Guided by Grace Publishing logo on a sticker, and be paw-tographed by Frodo and his mom. You will have to pay for shipping. If you order through Amazon (we'll get there soon), the hardcover edition will not have any of the above.
Finally, we will create greeting cards for several occasions based on some of the illustrations in the book.
What about Amazon and other online resources?
Yes, eventually we will make this book available on Amazon. Give us time. We will keep you posted.
