The team for our inaugural product, the reason we started a publishing company.

Frodo

Frodo was a Golden Corgi-a mix of Golden Retriever and Corgi, whose temperament was very Golden. He loved everyone, and nearly everyone loved him.
After returning home from an emergency vet visit to remove 50 foxtail stickers from his feet, Frodo never walked again. His mom said goodbye, June 9, 2025.
Whimsical and expressive during his time on Earth, Frodo now spends his days in Heaben spreading cheer, making new friends, and welcoming the pets and people who arrive each day.

Debbie Kubik Evert

Debbie Evert lives in Wichita, Kansas, where she was born and raised. After many years working in editorial and design roles in the publishing industry, Debbie founded Guided By Grace Publishing, LLC. Inspired by her love for dogs and her faith in God, she wrote Conversations from Heaven to bring comfort and hope to children grieving the loss of a beloved pet. Debbie also owns Aunt Debbie's Pet Sitting and enjoys gardening and spending time with her new love, Chewey, an 11-year old, 11-lb. ShihTzu.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas and a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
