Debbie lives in Wichita, Kansas where she was born and raised. she holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas and a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Debbie spent many years working in editorial and design roles in the publishing industry. She also owns Wash-N-Well, a soap making company, operates Aunt Debbie's Pet Sitting, and founded Guided By Grace Publishing, LLC.

Debbie enjoys writing, gardening, coloring, and spending time with dogs.
